Austrian Audio has designed the OC 18 as a simpler version of the OC 818. While the OC 818 boasts remote-switchable polar patterns and app control, the Austrian Audio OC18 Studio Set focuses on the essentials: ease of use and great sound quality. It features a fixed cardioid polar pattern – suitable for the majority of applications. Included is a two-stage pad switch offering 10 and 20dB attenuation, as well as a high-pass filter adjustable at 40, 80, or 160Hz, making it versatile for adjusting to individual voices, for example.
