Description
TWISTfm is a versatile polyphonic synthesizer that combines the timeless magic of FM synthesis with modern analog filter technology and innovative control options. At the heart of TWISTfm are two Yamaha OPL-3 YMF262 FM chips working in perfect harmony with two vintage YAC512 stereo DACs. This exceptional setup delivers 8 discrete voices, each equipped with its own analog multimode filter. The result: an unparalleled variety of rich, dynamic sound worlds.
Thanks to the versatile modulation options of its faders, TWISTfm opens up completely new dimensions of sound design.
Equipped with three powerful LFOs, a pressure modulator and a flexible envelope, it offers a comprehensive toolset for dynamic and expressive sound creations.
The TWISTfm ‘s multifunctional ribbon controller opens up a wide range of possible uses: whether for pitch bends, modulation, preset morphing, scrubbing in the sequencer or seamlessly switching between chords.
