The Doepfer A-184-1 is a multifunction Eurorack module combining four essential functions: ring modulation, sample & hold (S&H), track & hold (T&H), and slew limiting. This makes it ideal for complex modulation and sound design within a modular synth setup.
The ring modulator multiplies two input signals to create distinctive, often metallic or bell-like tones, adding rich harmonic content. The S&H and T&H circuits sample and hold voltages, producing stepped or smooth modulations respectively.
